Coornhert Sidesword Gathering 2024

Welcome to the Coornhert Sidesword Gathering 2024! After last years great succes we are back to gather once more on saturday 16 and sunday 17 november in the great city of Gouda and focus on the beautiful weapon that is the Sidesword.

What will the event consist of?

• Three instructors giving workshops on various sidesword techniques (and sidearms);

This year we will welcome Ruben Ragno taking on Reitzen-Nemen-Treffen with Meyer Rapier, Emilia Skirmuntt taking on Sword & Cape and Martin Höppner of Schildwache Potsdam taking on fighting with two swords!

• Opportunities to spar against international participants;
• A tournament on sunday, focusing solely on the sidesword;
• A dinner on saturday evening in the heart of historical Gouda with entertainment and a reading on Coornhert;
• And taking last years feedback to heart: we will make sure to provide coffee on both days!
